Marmorschlössl Fotomuseum
The Marmorschlössl stands in the Kaiserpark of Bad Ischl and was used by Emperor Franz Joseph I and Empress Elisabeth as a breakfast salon. From 1978 to 2020 it housed Austria's first museum of photography; since April 2020 it has been a site of OÖ Landes-Kultur GmbH, the cultural company of the province of Upper Austria. It presents seasonal exhibitions on the Salzkammergut, the imperial court and contemporary art, while its historic interiors are restored step by step together with the Federal Monuments Office.
