Muzeum Historyczne w Bielsku-Białej

Muzeum Historyczne w Bielsku-Białej (the Historical Museum in Bielsko-Biała) is based in the 14th-century Sułkowski Castle, once a seat of the Cieszyn Piasts and, for over 200 years, of the Sułkowski family, before becoming a museum in 1945. Alongside the castle's collections of period interiors, painting and militaria, the museum runs branch sites across the city, including the Old Factory devoted to the region's textile and technology heritage, and hosts temporary exhibitions on art, history and archaeology.
