Museum of the Second World War

The Museum of the Second World War is a state cultural institution in Gdańsk, established in 2008 and opened to visitors in March 2017. Its main exhibition, designed by NV Tempora inside a building by the Kwadrat architectural studio, covers over 6,000 square meters and traces the war's causes, course and aftermath through nearly 3,000 artifacts and around 260 multimedia stations. The museum is supervised by Poland's Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and also runs a branch on the Westerplatte peninsula.
