Florence Nightingale Museum

The Florence Nightingale Museum stands at St Thomas' Hospital in London, on the site where Florence Nightingale founded her nursing school in 1860. Across three galleries it traces her story from a privileged Victorian childhood through the Crimean War to her lifelong campaign for health reform, displaying artefacts such as her medicine chest and the Register of Nurses who served under her. It also explores the legacy of modern nursing today.
