Podbrdské muzeum

Podbrdské muzeum is the regional museum of Rožmitál pod Třemšínem, opened in July 2010 when the town's collections moved out of the cramped Brdy Memorial building. Its permanent displays are devoted to the composer Jakub Jan Ryba, the noble house of the Lords of Rožmitál, and the crafts and folk art of the Podbrdsko region, and include the largest set of carved coats of arms in Bohemia, a model of St Vitus Cathedral made of rye straw and historic Aero cars. A gallery hosts changing exhibitions and events.
