UNDER THE OPEN SKY

Permanent

In Ordrupgaard's park, you can experience great art under the open sky – created by several of today's leading Danish and international contemporary artists.

For example, try stepping into Jeppe Hein's water pavilion and let yourself be enveloped by water, go high up in Doug and Mike Starn's large bamboo tower, step into Randi & Katrine's giant spruce cone, or jump through a cloud of fog in Olafur Eliasson's work Weathering the Weather.

Since 2013, Ordrupgaard has let contemporary art spring up among trees, flowers, and bushes in the museum's green park.

Reflections on nature and fleeting natural phenomena such as wind, light, and reflections run like a common thread through the works – just as in the French Impressionists' works in the museum's exhibition halls.

Please note that some works are closed during the winter half-year.
