The Körber Foundation and the House of Photography at the Deichtorhallen Hamburg have launched EXPANDED HORIZONS. NEW PHOTOGRAPHIC PERSPECTIVES, an internationally oriented mentoring and exhibition program dedicated to new perspectives in emerging contemporary photography from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The inaugural edition explores the theme “Tomorrow's Ghosts – The Photographic and its Spectres”.
The group exhibition showcases the award recipients’ projects, which examine forms and practices of the spectral as aesthetic, media-related, and political strategies of the present. EXPANDED HORIZONS offers audiences a unique opportunity to discover emerging talent and the latest developments in photography as well as to engage directly with the participating artists.
