About the exhibition
With a major exhibition on the ground floor of the Gallery of Contemporary Art, the Hamburger Kunsthalle shows the wide range of current ideas and new approaches. As the exhibition title suggests (»Time after Time«), the dimension of temporality, of lived or layered time, is of particular significance. Connections between current art and the art of its immediately preceding generation are revealed – including numerous new acquisitions to the collection, well-known highlights and special loans.
