Jewish Museum Hohenems

The Jewish Museum Hohenems is a regional museum in Vorarlberg, Austria, opened in 1991 in the historic Villa Heimann-Rosenthal. Its permanent exhibition traces the rural Jewish community of Hohenems from its beginnings to its destruction under National Socialism, and follows the diaspora of its descendants. Changing exhibitions and an extensive programme extend that history to Jewish life in Europe today, migration and the questions facing a diverse society.
