Eva Horská & Jakub Horský | What We All Have (from the Dialogue series)

Visual style combined with typography is ubiquitous today. Together with fashion, it shapes the era in which it originates. It defines the appearance of websites and social networks, documents we create using preset templates, books we read, posters we pass on the streets, commercials, purchased tickets – simply everything where text and font play at least a marginal role. Perhaps that is why most of us do not perceive it as art. It is merely a mediator that, only in exceptional cases, can afford to transcend the content of the message and become a self-contained work of art. Eva and Jakub Horští and their studio Upupaepop undoubtedly belong to such cases.
