About the exhibition
Exactly 50 years ago, the XII. Olympic Winter Games took place in Innsbruck. The Games had a significant impact on Innsbruck and the Bergisel. The intervention shows exciting objects and tells entertaining stories, for example about the mascots Schneemandl and Sonnenweiberl, the Olympic medals or the Olympic torch.
In addition, the Olympia Rally takes school groups on a digital scavenger hunt via tablet to 25 tasks in the Tirol Panorama and on the Bergisel (a project of the City of Innsbruck and the Media Centre of the Province of Tyrol).
