Jiří Thýn / Night

Jiří Thýn is a distinctive representative of contemporary Czech photography. A member of the middle generation of artists, he works in thematic cycles while approaching his subjects from a number of different perspectives. At his exhibitions, he combines photography with objects and makes sensitive use of the given space. Though he draws on tradition, he also experiments with the possibilities offered by photography and the photogram.
