Permanent Exhibition – Through the Labyrinth

On June 29, 2024, on the occasion of its 60th anniversary, the Gallery of the Central Bohemian Region opened a new collection exhibition. With its non-historical approach, it follows up on the successful project "States of Mind / Beyond the Picture," which was awarded the national Gloria musaealis prize in 2015. The exhibition, conceived as an invitation to journey THROUGH THE LABYRINTH, is freely inspired by the book "The Hero with a Thousand Faces" by American mythologist and ethnologist Joseph Campbell (1904–1987), who explored the common foundations of myths, legends, and religious doctrines.
