Petr Válek – Wildly

Wildly presents Petr Válek's latest work as a phantasmagorical world of images, sounds, and objects on the border of fine art, music, and performance. The exhibition works with a fictional memory of the Sudetenland, with psychedelic images generated by AI, with false folklore, and with a childish imagination, in which punk play, horror shots, and grotesques mingle. The sound component here is not an accompaniment to the image but has an independent semantic position. Wildly is an exhibition about childhood memories, about the harsh landscape of the Sudeten countryside, about the chaos of contemporary reality, but also about the untamed freedom of creation and the unusual beauty of ugliness.
