Estorick Collection
The Estorick Collection is the United Kingdom's only museum dedicated to modern Italian art, founded by American collector Eric Estorick and his wife Salome after they discovered Futurism on their 1947 honeymoon. Housed since 1998 in a converted Georgian townhouse in Islington, it holds major Futurist works by Boccioni, Balla, Severini and Carrà alongside figurative painting and sculpture from 1890 to the 1950s, and runs a programme of temporary exhibitions.
