Leighton House Museum
Leighton House is the former home and studio of Victorian painter Frederic Leighton, designed by architect George Aitchison between 1866 and 1895 and famed for its Orientalist Arab Hall. Together with the nearby Sambourne House, the preserved home of Punch illustrator Edward Linley Sambourne, it has been run as a public museum by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea since 1926. The museums show the artists' original interiors and collections alongside a changing programme of exhibitions.
