HuskMitNavn

Jun 26 – Dec 30, 2026

NOTE: On weekends and during school holidays, it is necessary to book a time slot for the sensory exhibition. This ensures that there is space in the exhibition for everyone – and you can advantageously book from home. Please also note that there are particularly many visitors in the exhibition on weekdays from 10 AM to 12 PM.

You are probably familiar with his characteristic black lines and humorous figures in bright colors from gables, house walls, posters, and books. Look forward to experiencing the renowned contemporary artist HuskMitNavn as he unleashes his lines in a gigantic total installation in this year's sensory exhibition.

HuskMitNavn literally breaks the frame and challenges the unwritten rules of museum behavior: that in a museum, one should speak quietly, walk slowly, and not touch the art. Because here, everything is turned upside down; you can move through the gold frames and, for example, disappear into a Jackson Pollock drip painting, climb a Piet Mondrian installation, or put on fly wings and climb a gigantic pile of excrement.

Over several decades, HuskMitNavn has established himself as one of the great innovators of Danish Street art. With his colorful people and animals, he tells everyday stories focusing on love, friendships, growing up, and parenthood. This year's sensory exhibition is no exception, where children and adults are invited to an adventurous exploration of what art is. The exhibition plays with the invisible rules we follow when we go to a museum — for who really decides?

The exhibition is particularly aimed at children aged 4-10 and their adults.

The exhibition was created in collaboration with the artist.
