Muzeum im. Jacka Malczewskiego
The Muzeum im. Jacka Malczewskiego is a regional museum in Radom, Poland, tracing its origins to a collection donated by collector Fr. Jan Wiśniewski in 1913 and formally opened in 1923. Since 1976 it has occupied an 18th-century former Piarist college building (architect Antoni Solari) on Radom's market square, and was renamed in 1999 after the painter Jacek Malczewski, a native of the region. Its departments cover archaeology, history, ethnography, natural history and fine art, including paintings by Malczewski.
