The exhibition "Life in the Podbrdsko Region" tells the story of the landscape and its people. It guides visitors through the beautiful Brdy landscape and nature, introducing them to traditional crafts. It documents the daily life of a Podbrdsko household, typical products, customs, and traditions.
The exhibition also includes a gallery of prominent figures, both famous ones born here, such as Václav Hudeček, Miloš Nedbal, Professor Emanuel Vlček, and those who lived and worked here for a part of their lives. A unique model of St. Vitus Cathedral (at a scale of 1:60) made from rye straw, and a collection of coats of arms carved from hornbeam wood, bear witness to the skill of our ancestors.
Old photographs projected onto the wall show Rožmitál at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. More detailed information and photographs are available on a touch-screen computer.
