Haus der Natur
Haus der Natur is Salzburg's museum of natural history and technology, founded in 1924 and housed in a listed building in the Left Old Town, part of the UNESCO World Heritage historic centre. On more than 7,000 square metres it presents permanent exhibitions on evolution, the ice age, the universe, dinosaurs, the human body and the animal kingdom, plus an aquarium with a reptile and amphibian zoo and a large hands-on science centre. Changing special exhibitions complete the programme, which draws about 328,000 visitors a year.
