Roman Museum

The Roman Museum is a branch of the Wien Museum, opened in May 2008 opposite the Anker Clock on Hoher Markt in Vienna's first district. It specializes in the city's history during Roman times, built over the excavated remains of the legionary camp Vindobona, and displays archaeological finds across three floors, including its two officers' houses, the most important Roman excavation in Vienna.
