À propos de l’exposition
Welcome to the Museum of Krakow for an extraordinary journey into the world of “Accessible Museum Tales”! Our heroes will be the most fascinating museum exhibits, and our guides a group of museum professionals who, under the watchful eye of experts, are learning especially for you how to create engaging and colourful stories accessible to everyone. To begin, we have selected 42 exhibits that show how varied the things hidden in museum exhibitions and storerooms can be. They include paintings and prints, sculptures and reliefs, as well as craft products, furniture, folk costumes, artists’ memorabilia, and such mundane things as advertising packaging. What connects them all is Kraków – remarkable places, personalities and stories associated with it. Each exhibit has received a photographic, multimedia presentation with audio description and subtitles, as well as a PJM sign language translation and an ETR easy-to-read text. We hope that the virtual gallery will allow you, especially in the coming winter days, to set off on a museum journey with us and encourage you to visit our numerous branches. We warmly invite you!
Project implemented by the Muzeum Krakowa (Museum of Krakow) within the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage programme “Kultura Dostępna”, in cooperation with the KATARYNKA Foundation for the Development of Audio Description.
