Michaela Polacek developed complex, often large-scale compositions from delicate ink drawings, in which figurative and abstract elements intertwine to form dense, dreamlike visual worlds. Her works combine heads, body fragments, ornaments, and architectural forms into associative configurations whose interpretation is intentionally left open and is meant to remain “like a wild dream.”
