Arnulf Rainer Museum

The Arnulf Rainer Museum is a contemporary art museum at Josefsplatz 5 in Baden, Lower Austria, housed in the former Frauenbad, a bathhouse built in 1821 in French Classicist style. The town of Baden converted the building into a museum dedicated to the painter Arnulf Rainer, who was born in Baden, and opened it in September 2009. It runs a programme of changing exhibitions built around Rainer's work, often placing it alongside other modern and contemporary artists.
