Memorial of National Literature

The National Literary Monument has permanent exhibitions (in which it regularly exchanges rare exhibits), organizes or co-organizes short-term exhibitions (not only in the Czech Republic, but also abroad). It is engaged in collection-building activities, takes care of archives, and is also engaged in scientific, research and publishing activities. It provides services for researchers. Educational activities are provided not only for students of primary, secondary and higher education institutions, but also for teachers in the form of various educational seminars. It also organizes various lectures, conferences, guided tours, live performances, readings, author readings, discussions, pub quizzes, workshops for children, guided tours and other events. It is also, together with the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, the organizer of the Most Beautiful Czech Books of the Year competition.
