The internationally renowned performance group, Sisters Hope has established a new wave of performance art, which hovers between art, activism, research and learning. Their mission is to democratise via practices that not only view art, but also inhabit it.
In the wake of the 2008 financial crisis, the artist Gry Worre Hallberg founded Sisters Hope as a perspective on the world and life that departs from economic rationality, and heads towards aestheticism, sensuousness and poetry. Sisters Hope believe that art has the potential to create concrete changes – in you and me, and in society.
The exhibition and their occupation of Kunsten in 2026 will provide a unique opportunity to be part of their artistic universe.
