From Collector to Art Patron

The history of the Zubaľ family collaboration with the Slovak National Gallery is a long one. In 2010 the SNG partnered with them on Galéria Horský park, a unique outdoor sculpture exposition opened two years later. In addition to pieces from the Linea Collection, this gallery comprises large format works of the SNG. The partnership deepened in the following years, resulting notably in the administration and presentation of collected works by Stanislav Filko, Július Koller, and Jana Želibská, and to their work establishing itself internationally. This active collaboration gave rise to the collectors’ unique gift to the SNG.
