"An exhibition about an exhibition" commemorating the 100th anniversary of the artist's birth and 40 years since Adriena Šimotová's first solo exhibition in a Czechoslovak official institution after 1968. It was organized by Jiří Valoch in the House of the Lords of Kunštát in Brno in 1986. The "ideal" reconstruction of the exhibition uses works presented at the time and now available from Czech and Slovak sources, as well as works from the Adriena Šimotová and Jiří John Endowment Fund. It equally presents archival documentation and photographs from the vernissage by Hana Hamplová and Bohdan Holomíček. A parallel ambition of the exhibition is to show the overall context of the artist's work in the 1980s, when she discovered the medium of paper, its perforation, and tactile touching. At the same time, this project is a general probe into the cultural and social situation of late normalization.
