Muzeum Cheb
Muzeum Cheb is the regional museum of the west Bohemian town of Cheb, housed in the burgher house on the main square known as the Pachelbel House, where Albrecht von Wallenstein was killed in 1634. The town council decided to establish it in 1873 and it opened to the public in May 1874, making it one of the oldest regional museums in Bohemia; it is run by the Karlovy Vary Region. Its permanent displays cover the history of Cheb and its region, the Wallenstein story and local ethnography, alongside a programme of temporary exhibitions.
