Due to the extremely high temperatures in the Carpenter's Workshop attic, we have decided to temporarily close the educational space "On Tomek's Trail". We will announce its reopening to visitors as soon as weather conditions allow for comfortable viewing.
We apologize for any inconvenience, thank you for your understanding, and invite you to visit other exhibitions at our museum.
Where does pepper grow? Who lives in a tepee? Can dreams be real? Answers to these questions can be found at the Silesian Museum, specifically in the historic Carpenter's Workshop building, from where you will enter the world of Alfred Szklarski's extremely popular novels. "On Tomek's Trail" is a modern educational space for families with children, where both the oldest and youngest members will find their place.
Inspired by the character of Tomek Wilmowski, the young hero of Alfred Szklarski's novels, a place has been designed whose goal is to connect generations and jointly discover the world through senses and creative challenges. Guests who face the task of solving the mystery of where Tomek disappeared have no choice but to pack their backpack and embark on a search expedition with the whole family, following the young traveler's trail, visiting places described by Alfred Szklarski.
We invite children aged 4 to 14, accompanied by guardians, to join the journey. To start the journey, you need to purchase tickets for a specific time slot. This can be done in two ways:
