The Silesian Museum is a regional museum, a cultural institution co-run by the Marshal's Office of the Silesian Voivodeship and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
Committed to the region's heritage, the dynamics of its history, multiculturalism and the leading role of industry, while simultaneously recognizing its intellectual and artistic achievements, the Silesian Museum undertakes the mission of creating a space for dialogue with the past and the achievements of the present in order to gain a deeper understanding of Silesia, Poland and Europe.
