Scouts of the Grey Ranks in Occupied Kraków

The exhibition presents the history of the Szare Szeregi (Grey Ranks), a clandestine organisation whose members fought during the Second World War to regain Poland's independence. In an engaging format, it showcases the activities of the Grey Ranks, including the Podgórze platoon of the Grup Szturmowych "Alicja" (Assault Groups "Alicja"), the youngest scouts known as Zawiszacy, and the publishing work of underground publishers and distributors of news sheets such as "Na Ucho" and "Na Tropie". The exhibition is also a tribute to Grey Ranks scouts who fell or were murdered during the war, and to veterans.
