Home Army Museum

The Home Army Museum in Kraków was founded in 2000 by Home Army veterans to preserve the history of the Polish Underground State and its armed resistance movement during World War II. It occupies a former Austrian Kraków Fortress building on Wita Stwosza street, redesigned after a 2005 architectural competition, and is named after General Emil Fieldorf "Nil". The museum holds thousands of wartime artifacts, documents and photographs, and hosts a changing programme of temporary exhibitions alongside its permanent collection.
