Ars Electronica Center
The Ars Electronica Center in Linz is the museum of Ars Electronica Linz GmbH, an Austrian institution for art, technology and society founded in 1979. Opened in 1996 on the Danube in the Urfahr district and also known as the Museum of the Future, it presents interactive exhibitions and laboratories on artificial intelligence, robotics, neuroscience, genetic engineering and biotechnology. Its Deep Space 8K hall projects gigapixel images and 3D animations onto 16-by-9-metre wall and floor surfaces.
