Autograph is a photography and film organisation founded in London in 1988 to support Black photographic practices, originally known as the Association of Black Photographers. Since 2007 it has been based at Rivington Place, a purpose-built visual arts centre in Shoreditch, London. It creates exhibitions and public programmes centred on race, identity, representation, human rights and social justice, and maintains an archive of historically overlooked artists.
