Handel Hendrix House
Handel Hendrix House is a museum in Mayfair, London, set in the historic homes of two very different musicians. German-born composer George Frideric Handel lived and worked at 25 Brook Street from 1723 until his death in 1759, composing many of his best-known operas and oratorios there. American guitarist Jimi Hendrix lived in a flat next door at 23 Brook Street in the late 1960s. Opened as the Handel House Museum in 2001 and expanded in 2016 to include Hendrix's flat, it shows period rooms, memorabilia and changing exhibitions.
