Sam Belinfante: All that I have to say is…
Jan 27 – Feb 28, 2027
About the exhibition
Sam Belinfante’s new film All that I have to say is . . . explores how changing light can affect our perception of space and create a sense of drama.
Stemming from his time as the first Artist in Residence at Sir John Soane’s Museum in Spring 2023, Belinfante draws inspiration from Soane’s unique use of apertures, coloured glass and reflective surfaces for theatrical effect. The film, which will be on display in the Museum’s Foyle Space, captures the way that light can be used to set a scene which then continues to unfold over the course of the day.
Our 2023 Artists in Residence were supported by the Clare McKeon Charitable Trust.
