Václav Kaplický: The Life and Work of a Writer

The outdoor panel exhibition in the museum garden presents the life and work of writer Václav Kaplický (1895–1982), known primarily as the author of the historical novel Kladivo na čarodějnice (Witches' Hammer). It traces his life story from Southern Bohemia through his experiences in World War I to his literary career, and introduces the breadth of his work – from autobiographical testimonies to historical novels and books for young people.
