What we can imagine today influences tomorrow's world. But how do images of a future we don't yet know come into being? And what kind of future does Artificial Intelligence design when it works with the hopes, fears, and ideas of the young generation?
Brave Future Narratives for 2040 – 2100
The United Nature Democracy in the museum garden sees itself as an experimental space for the future: At 15 audio stations on five future continents, stories from the years 2040 to 2100 tell of possible developments that emerged from the ideas of Generation Z and with the support of Artificial Intelligence. The narratives open up new perspectives on the coexistence of humans, nature, and technology and invite visitors to develop their own visions of a livable future.
Two pioneering projects by Friedensreich Hundertwasser and Lois Weinberger complement the exhibition and show what contribution art and culture can make to social change.
