Mining Skansen

MINING SKANSEN set up around the Museum building complements the exhibition of Muzeum Polskiego Przemysłu Siarkowego. Visitors can see fragments of the gigantic machines once used to extract sulphur ore. Gathered here are, among other things, large transformers, motors of the pumps that drained the mine area, a drum from a conveyor belt, a water pump valve, control booths, and a large nameplate from the largest excavator produced in the GDR.
