The couple's special sense of form and color has cemented the name Poul Gernes in the Danish consciousness. In recent years, however, it has become common knowledge that Aase Seidler Gernes also worked behind this name and furthermore had a large body of her own work.
Aase & Poul Gernes – Art, Collective, and Love unfolds a story of a home, a marriage, and a life where art filled every corner of existence, and where creating art was a collective project.
