La scène artistique d'Aalborg est ancrée par le KUNSTEN Museum of Modern Art, un bâtiment conçu par Alvar Aalto avec son propre parc de sculptures. Des expositions se tiennent aussi à Kunsthal Nord, situé dans le centre culturel Nordkraft, et à l'Aalborg Kunstpavillon. Les espaces publics et les parcs de la ville sont également animés par une variété de sculptures.
