L'ouverture de la Východoslovenská galéria en 1951, deux ans après la Slovenská národná galéria, fut un jalon pour la culture slovaque. Première galerie régionale du pays, située dans la deuxième plus grande ville, elle n'a cessé d'enrichir ses collections. Notre mission : collecter, protéger, rendre accessible et promouvoir l'art slovaque et étranger dans toute sa diversité.
