Exhibition: Pavel Niebauer - ART ALTER EGO (Traces of Age - Unveiling)

The work of Rokycany native Pavel Niebauer from 2023-25 stands out with its surreal expression and includes surprising spatial objects and installations made of wood, stone, and metal.

The exhibition presents his drawings, paintings, and collages in the form of imaginative visions, stimulating the viewer's imagination. Colorized large-format photographs are also on display. An important part of the exhibition are also material installations on relief-worked slate bases.

Real components and segments are involved here in paradoxical contexts, which can be perceived as seemingly illogical. In this way, the author explores the interaction between the practical experience of an adult and the artistic intention to alternate this experience in an unusual way. It is therefore an attempt to free oneself from the pragmatic and stereotypical perception of reality and to approach a lighthearted and fresh childish view of the world.

This exhibition can thus become a general inspiration for a wider audience. For active enthusiasts of fine art, it is then an example of a distinctive and deliberate transgression of formal and traditional forms of artistic work with various materials and techniques.
