Jewish Museum: 120 Years
About the exhibition
· Show original"Up to 120!" is the traditional Jewish birthday wish. In 2026, the Jewish Museum in Prague has truly had it come true. The third-oldest Jewish museum in the world has for 120 years preserved the stories of Czech and Moravian Jews: stories of people, places and objects that have been an integral part of Czech and European history for more than a thousand years.
This anniversary exhibition in the historic building of the National Museum opens the doors to this extraordinary world through rare objects from the collections of the Jewish Museum, many of which are being presented to the public for the very first time. It tells the remarkable story of the museum itself, but above all of the people whose lives, traditions and memory its collection preserves.
Included with admission to the National Museum.
Under the patronage of the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel.
The exhibition is realised with financial support from: Ministry of Culture, DAP a.s., Daramis Management, Dentons Europe, Albico, s.r.o., Mark Pinzow, Evan Lazar
