Travel Diaries, Maps, and Guides

The travelling exhibition of the LUSTR illustration and comics festival, prepared in cooperation with the National Library of the Czech Republic and the Memorial of National Literature, connects historical travel diaries, maps and illustrations with contemporary authorial work. The dialogue between Renaissance travellers, cartographers or missionaries and today's illustrators shows that the desire to record the world around us has not changed much over the centuries.

Visitors to the International Festival of Illustration and Comics LUSTR, which takes place from September 24 to 30 in Holešovická tržnice, will have discounted admission to the exhibition Travel Diaries, Maps and Guides.
