Postal Museum
The Postal Museum was founded in Prague in 1918 as the first museum institution of independent Czechoslovakia. Since 1988 it has been housed in the historic Vávra's Mill near Štefánik Bridge, with a branch in the Cistercian monastery at Vyšší Brod. It holds collections on the history of postal services, communication and transport, including uniforms, vehicles and philatelic material. Since January 2026 it has been part of the National Technical Museum.
