Young Art – A New Exhibition at Stajnie Książęce

We warmly invite you to visit the post-competition exhibition „Sztuka młodych”, presenting the awarded and commended works of participants in the 38th edition of the art competition „Moja przygoda w muzeum”, organised by Muzeum Zamkowe w Pszczynie.

The competition, held without interruption since 1988, has for years inspired children and young people to discover the world of art, develop their imagination and shape their aesthetic sensitivity. Its aim is to encourage young creators to seek their own means of artistic expression, and to deepen their knowledge of the museum's collections and of the history presented in the museum's spaces.

In this year's edition, 33 institutions submitted a total of 411 artworks. The works were inspired by 39 groups, comprising a total of 832 participants, who visited the castle as part of educational classes and museum meetings.

The exhibition „Sztuka młodych” is an exceptional presentation of the work of young artists who, through diverse techniques and means of expression, shared their museum inspirations. The display reveals the richness of children's and young people's imagination, their creativity and remarkable sensitivity to art, history and cultural heritage.

On 2 June 2026 a festive opening of the exhibition took place, combined with the presentation of awards and commendations to the laureates. It was a special occasion to meet the young creators, their families, teachers and guardians, and to celebrate together the artistic achievements of the participants. The ceremony also marked the conclusion of many months of work, commitment and creative exploration, which bore fruit in extremely diverse and inspiring works.

We warmly congratulate all participants on their talent and creativity, and wish the laureates further artistic success. We warmly invite you to visit the exhibition and discover the world as seen through the eyes of young artists.

The post-competition exhibition prepared at Stajnie Książęce in Pszczyna is open to visitors from 2 June to 29 November 2026.
