Wien Museum
Wien Museum is the city museum of Vienna, run by the City of Vienna. Its collections cover the city's history from Roman Vindobona to the present, alongside art, photography and fashion. The main building on Karlsplatz, designed by Oswald Haerdtl and opened in 1959, reopened in December 2023 after a renovation. The museum also runs about a dozen further sites, among them the Clock Museum and the Beethoven, Haydn and Schubert residences.
