Exhibition: 13th Rokycany Biennial of Graphic Art
Par Stanislava Volková
À propos de l’exposition
The Rokycany Biennial of Graphic Art is an international competition exhibition of classical graphic art by visual artists, not restricted by theme. The first edition of the biennial took place as early as 2002. This year's competition was attended by 45 authors from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Serbia, Croatia, Poland and distant Japan, who submitted more than 100 prints. From this selection, the expert jury chose the awarded works, which received 4 main prizes and 10 prestigious certificates. The exhibition thus offers a unique opportunity to see a broad range of contemporary classical graphic art in one space. The co-organisers of this 13th edition are, as traditionally, Muzeum Dr. Bohuslava Horáka v Rokycanech, a branch of the Západočeské muzeum v Plzni, and the Město Rokycany.
